Fresh and lifted whites; rich, strong reds with plenty of colour and body; amazing ripe flavoured fortifieds.
All round – we’re a happy bunch of winemakers here at St Annes. You’ll start to see some of our 2021 whites later this year, and the other varieties will be a couple of years away (and much, much longer for fortifieds).
| Pruning
Pruning is underway, and we’re feeling it’s quite a cold Winter this year. Or maybe we’re just getting older?
As usual, we carefully hand prune our blocks after some mechanical help to cut most of the canes. This technique saves time, but moreover, it allows for a better quality prune job as the operators can take more time on each vine pruning rather than removing last years canes. It takes all of Winter for us to get through our pruning – so we’re a little under half way.
| Bendigo
Our new Bendigo site is coming along nicely, and we hope to be open by mid August. It’s a beautiful site, with a quality vineyard. We’ll be offering tastings of our entire range at Bendigo, including our local Bendigo wines of course. There will be events through Spring and Summer, and platters will be served every day. We hope to see you at Bendigo soon!

Our Moama Cellar Door is a contemporary building located at the front of our Moama Winery. As well as free tastings every day, we offer beautiful platter lunches. Enjoy a delicious platter on the lawns overlooking the lake, or inside by the fire on cold days.
